Lilian K. Yerger, 89, of Boyertown,

Lilian K. (Swavely) Yerger, 89, of Boyertown, PA, formerly of Pottstown, widow of Marvin R. Yerger Sr., died Friday, December 29, 2017 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Edith (Keeley) Swavely. Mrs. Yerger was employed by the Pottsgrove School District as the cafeteria manager for 39 years.

Surviving are one son, Timothy L. Yerger, Mount Pocono; daughter-in-law, Dorothy A. Yerger, Pottstown; granddaughter, Beth, wife of Todd Lanphear, Reading; grandson, Brian Yerger, and his wife, Jolene, Moorsville, NC; one brother, Larry Swavely, and his wife Eileen, Sanatoga; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Marvin R. Yerger Jr.; brothers Carl, Robert, Samuel, and Harlan; and sisters Adelene and Lulu.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Barry L. Moyer. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories. There will be a viewing from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday at the funeral home.
