William D. Kunsch, 84, of Phoenixville

William D. “Bill” Kunsch, 84, husband of Kathryn S. “Kay” (Ettinger) Kunsch, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Thursday, December 28, 2017 in Phoenixville Hospital.

Born on February 12, 1933 in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Jacob and Helen (Katona) Kunsch.

Bill was a graduate of Phoenixville High School, class of 1950.

He was a Supervisor at B.F. Goodrich for 35 years until it’s closing.

He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, and served on various committees.

He coached for the Oaks Audubon/Oaks Little League.

Bill was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing on the Chesapeake.

Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 63 years are son Bill (Debra) Kunsch Jr. of Collegeville, PA; son Jim (Donna) Kunsch of Limerick, PA; son Chuck (Beth) Kunsch of Shrewsbury, MA; grandchildren, Sarah (Louis) Lombardi, Jim (Tori) Kunsch Jr., Kelly Kunsch, Aiden Kunsch, Sophia Kunsch; greatgrandson, Bennett Kunsch; and brother, Robert Kunsch.

He was preceded in death by brother David Kunsch.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 355 St. John’s Circle, Phoenixville, PA, on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 10:30 am.

Burial will follow in Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.

A viewing will be held in church on Wednesday morning from 9:00 am to 10:15 am.
