Dallas R. Leister, 78, of Boyertown

Dallas R. Leister, 78, husband of Joan K. (Sell) Leister of Boyertown, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in the Reading Hospital.

Born in Gabelsville, he was a son of the late Alice (Youse) and Ammon Leister.

Dallas was a Brick Layer for his entire working life. He was also coowner and operator of Leister Brothers construction.

He was an active member of the Keystone Fire Company, Boyertown.

Dallas is survived by his children, Dale A., husband of Beverly Leister of Mertztown; Donna C., wife of Terry Ludwig of Boyertown, and Douglas R. Leister of Oley; his siblings, Charles, Barry, Daniel, Kerry, Vivian Kulp, Nancy Kulp, Pauline Benfield, Dorothy Nuss and Betty Sweeny. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Dallas is predeceased by his brothers, Carl, Paul and Rodman.

Funeral Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

Family and friends may call Wednesday at the funeral home from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.

Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown.
