Take a look at what friends and neighbors are saying about local hot topics and join in on the conversation.

I want to thank Donald Trump for the thousand-dollar bonus I just got. Also starting in February, I’ll be getting $40 a week more in my paycheck because of the lower tax rate. So once again I hope all the crybaby liberals send their money back when they get it.

It’s so exciting to see the leaders of Pennsylvania do something constructive. Oh no, it wasn’t tax relief for the elderly. No it was let’s get more fireworks out there that are dangerous to hurt people or legalize marijuana. They’re useless. Vote them all out.

They call it the polar plunge but yet when we get a little bit of cold weather they’re afraid to go in. Maybe next year.

If you have a cat or dog and you leave them outside chained up, that’s not a good thing. You need to bring your animals inside the house when the weather is below 25 degrees in the daytime. So if you have a neighbor, remind your neighbor to bring the animal inside, don’t let them just chain them up outside.

I wish some of the people calling in and saying Donald Trump has accomplished nothing in his first year would call in and tell me what Gov. Wolf of Pennsylvania has accomplished in three years. Gov. Wolf is up for re-election in 2018. If someone could tell me what he did his first three years, maybe I would vote for him this time.

Hey Obama your dreams of running our country a third term through Hillary got crushed but why are you still doing interviews and hanging out in DC? Your time’s up corrupter. America’s brightest eyes were wide open to your corruption and agendas. Go home and accept defeat gracefully yourself instead of preaching it.

I would like to know as well as my neighbors when are we going to get an Olive Garden restaurant in the Pottstown area? We have everything else, all kind of mattress stores and everything else but no Olive Garden. What is the problem?

A few months ago Donald Trump praised Gen. Mike Flynn his national security advisor and said he was a good man even though he knew he lied to the FBI. Guess what? It looks like Flynn is now turning on Trump. Trump and his lawyers are calling Flynn a liar. This administration just keeps giving and giving. Who said Ringling Brothers Circus went out of business? Now that the weather is so bitter all the moms and dads, grandmas, grandpas, babysitters, daycare centers, button up those little children before they go out in the cold. Also don’t walk so fast, their legs are not as long as yours. Please heed these messages. I don’t like to see the little ones with no hoods up, coats open and being dragged along while the older person is walking. Thank you very much and God bless you all for all you do for us. Amen.

Five-hundred pages into the tax plan you will learn that a CEO can deduct his private plane but a police officer cannot deduct his uniform. Deplorable. Jay Miller

I really can’t believe people felt things were going in a good direction. Look at all our ghost town cities that were once prosperous. There are no jobs, pay cuts instead of pay raises, no respect from world leaders. Now we have a man in office who remembers what we once were and wants to return to that but I guess depending on the government for everything is more appealing to the majority. How sad. Happy New Year everyone. Lady Di

To No Snake Oil, after reading your comments I have to disagree with your last sentence. You are not an Eagles fan.

This is to KM. I wonder if you’ve ever been hired by a poor person. I didn’t think so.

This is for the post office. The stamps are already outrageously priced at $9.80. Now you want to raise the prices up to stop the post office from going bankrupt. Why do you think people are paying bills online? If you lower your cost of stamps watch more revenue come in for the post office. That’s common sense.
