Stephen J. Kriebel, 58, of Boyertown

Stephen J. Kriebel, 58, of Boyertown, husband of Virginia M. (Erb) Kriebel, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017.

Born in Pottstown, he was the son of Vincent and Barbara (Weinsteiger) Kriebel.

Stephen worked as a printing press operator at Boyertown Packaging for 25 years before joining his brother at Kriebel Security as a security service technician. He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish and a longtime member of the Boyertown YMCA. Stephen had a passion for coaching children in CYO softball and basketball at Saint Francis Academy as well as coaching softball for Boyertown Optimist. He also played basketball and slow pitch softball for many years in Boyertown and Pottstown.

Surviving along with his wife is his son, Timothy Kriebel, husband of Jacklyn; daughters, Stacy, Sarah and Rachel Kriebel; brothers, Randy Kriebel, Dan Kriebel, husband of Carol, David Kriebel, husband of Anita, Paul Kriebel, husband of Chris, & Ken Kriebel, husband of Pam; and grandson, Owen Hornak. Also surviving are many nieces & nephews. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be sadly missed.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 6, at 11:30 A.M. at Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church, 610 Pine St., Bally. Burial will follow in Most Blessed Sacrament Church Cemetery, Bally. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 1020 E. Phila. Ave., Gilbertsville, and on Saturday, Jan. 6, at Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church from 9:30-11:00 A.M.
