Someone in the Lower Pottsgrove area tortured a young cat by sticking a bungee hook in its eye and pulling its skin and fur down. I was able to trap it and my friend took her to be treated but she was beyond saving. There’s a special place in hell for people like you. Donald Trump has the highest staff turnover in 40 years with 34 percent. The next highest is 17 percent which was the Ronald Reagan administration. Also during their first year as president Bill Clinton had 12 solo press conferences, George W. Bush had five, Barack Obama had 11 and Donald Trump had one so far. During Trump’s campaign they talked about Hillary Clinton being afraid of the press. What does this say for the Trump?

This is to the woman wearing a yellow jacket at Victoria’s Secret. You would never have allowed anybody to treat you the way you treated that clerk. You should remember to treat others the way you want to be treated. You’re not entitled to anything special and you probably made that young lady feel terrible. If you were overcharged for items the last time, you shouldn’t have waited. You should have called right away. You just wanted something for free.

After 40-plus years as a subscriber to The Mercury at two different addresses, I am among others on and around Second and 4th streets in Boyertown to have the best deliverer. Her name is Virginia Reyes. Those of us with infirmities are especially grateful for porch delivery. Also the neighbors have been attending to clearing the sidewalks and steps. I’m going to try to eat healthy food this year but it’s really hard. I’ve heard that if you cook kale in olive oil it’s much easier to scrape into the garbage when done.
