Sheldon C. ‘Mickey’ Wooster, 84, of Limerick

Sheldon C. “Mickey” Wooster, 84, husband of Jean M. (Cloutier) Wooster, N. Limerick Rd., Limerick Twp., died Friday, December 29, 2017, at Parkhouse Nursing & Rehab. Ctr., Upper Providence Twp.

Mr. Wooster was born on September 1, 1933, in Lynn, MA. He was the son of the late Frederick and Irma (Yeaton) Wooster.

Before he retired, Mr. Wooster was a mental health psychiatric aide at Danvers State Hospital in Massachusetts. He also worked in food service at Ursinus College. He was an avid sports fan and music lover. He was noted for his knowledge of sports trivia and classic country musicians. Mr. Wooster enjoyed volunteering with the local youth baseball league, giving his time as a game announcer for many years.

In addition to his wife of 49 years, Mr. Wooster is survived by his children, Yvette, wife of John DiPerri, Seabrook, NH, and Timothy, husband of Kathleen (Browne) Wooster, Dover, NH; and his grandchildren, Brandon Wooster, Jenna LeClair, Matthew Wooster, and Daniel Wooster. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Valery Wooster.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, January 4th, at the Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Main St., Trappe, with the Rev. Thomas T. Kochenderfer, retired Lutheran pastor, officiating.
