Lee Grant Harding, 75, of Reading
Lee Grant Harding, 75, of Reading, passed away peacefully in the Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, December 26, 2017.
Born in Reading on November 16, 1942, Lee was a son of the late Irvin Henry and Edna Mae (Witmer) Harding. He was a graduate of the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in Philadelphia. He remained involved with the deaf community a received help from the Berks Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services.
Lee was employed for 34 years with the former Quaker Made Kitchen as a cabinet maker before retiring. He loved sports especially the Phillies and Eagles.
Surviving are five siblings: Allen D. Harding and his wife, Ethel of Ephrata, Shirley G. Harding of Shillington, June W. Lamonica of Shillington, Eugene M. Harding and his wife, Nancy of Pottstown and Betty A. Latshaw of Reading and many nieces and nephews.
Lee is predeceased by a brother: Henry I. Harding and a sister: Barbara J. Lonaberger.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday January 3, 2018 from 10 am to 11am in Auman’s Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19608. Services will follow the viewing at 11 am. Burial will be at a later date in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading.
