Elaine L. Bush, “Sue”, 71, of Lower Pottsgrove, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at her home. She was born on December 31, 1946 in Reading, PA. She is the daughter of the late William and the late Elizabeth (Patterson) Teasdale.

Sue was an avid poker player and was a member of VFW Post 411 in Birdsboro and the former Moose Lodge of Pottstown. She had a long career as an office manager working for George Wausnock State Farm Agency for 36 years and then continuing at the Chris Rowe State Farm Agency.

Sue and her husband Scott celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in September 2017.

Above all, she was a devoted and proud mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband: D. Scott Bush of Lower Pottsgrove; two daughters: Traci (& Gregory) Evans of Birdsboro, PA and Judi “JJ” (& Arthur) Peterson of Webster, WI; two brothers: William ( & Sarah) Teasdale of Sandia Park, NM and Richard (& Judi) Teasdale of Torrey, UT; five grandchildren: Seth & Holli Evans, Ali & Brady Durnan & Matthew Peterson; one great-grandson, Daniel Finn; as well as nieces and nephews.

A Life Celebration Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, 955 N Charlotte Street, Pottstown, PA 19464. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday morning from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
