This is the third time in one year that my windshield has received a stone hit which resulted in damage now requiring a replaced windshield, not because I was tailgating any vehicle either. I think it’s time a law be enacted where all vehicles are required to have mud flaps on them or something that prevents this damage to vehicles behind them. I know other people who have the same problem. I can’t afford to replace three windshields in one year.

Concerning U.S. Post Office rates, Congress said postal service couldn’t charge what it needed to charge because the friends of congressmen said you can’t do that. People also forget for 15 years the postal rate was three cents per envelope and when they tried to increase it everybody screamed. If the postage rate had kept up with inflation you would be spending over $2.37 an ounce. Isn’t that amazing, you are saving lots of money under the postal service.

This is for Broke. The reason I said you’re going to see more money is because of tax reform — 85 percent of all people are going to be paying less taxes and that means more money in your paycheck. So that’s how you’re going to get the money. It’s not like you’re going to get a check in the mail. It’s because of reduced taxes. So Broke, I sure hope you’re one of them — one of the 85 percent that get something back.

It was great to see the new Collegeville Borough Council in action. Since the election in November, the Democratic mayor and four council members are proposing a new progressive agenda that benefits everyone in Collegeville. The three Republicans will eventually come around to help get things done for the people of Collegeville Borough. If not, they too will lose their seats in the next election. Welcome to progress in 2018.

Lady Di, quit drinking the Fox Kool-Aid. Comey and Mueller have more integrity in their little finger than Trump has in his entire body and you know both are Republicans. The Clintons have been investigated since Bill Clinton was in office and millions of dollars have been spent to no avail. Either they’re the biggest masterminds of all time which I doubt or a lot of this is fake news. Why do you think Fox News was voted the king of fake news? Stop living in a bubble.

Hey Jay Miller, if I’m not mistaken a police officer or anybody else for that matter can deduct any expenses they incur for work-related items necessary for their job that they pay for out of their own pockets that is not reimbursed to them by their employer. It would go on Schedule A of your taxes. Kind of ironic you didn’t mention that in your sound off.

If Fox News were on air back in the early 70s and Sean Hannity had his program, President Richard M. Nixon would never have resigned. So Fox News is the protector of the Republicans who cheat.

I’m having trouble with the fact that a $100,000-ayear administrator plays silly practical jokes in a business work environment wasting tax-bought material. It is like stealing and should be grounds for dismissal. Sounds to me like this person has too much free time. Why has their boss allowed this and why isn’t the board looking into this?

Isn’t it funny how the airlines and all the financial businesses are giving their employees a $1,000 bonus and a raise increase but yet you take the smaller ones and the stores they’re not giving their people a $1,000 bonus or a raise. Hey government make it fair. Make everyone do that for the employees.

Dear Lady Di, we are not talking about what happened in the past. That’s all water over the dam and cannot be changed. What we need to know now is how Donald Trump used the Russians to steal an election and how many of them are going to jail. OK?

Clark S. Kent, you say 68 percent of the people do not like President Trump, they disapprove of everything he’s doing. Myself who voted for Trump and a lot of my friends and relatives none of us have ever been polled about Trump at all and I’m not talking about one or two people, I’m talking about 25, 30, maybe 40 people. They’re polling people they know hate Trump and they know they’re going to say something negative about him and that’s a fact.
