Mary Baumgard, 105, formerly of Royersford

Mary (nee Nace) Baumgard, 105, of North Cape May, NJ and formerly of Royersford, PA passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday morning, January 3, 2018.

During her working years, Mary worked at Phillips Knitting Mills in Royersford, PA until its closing in 1972.

During her life of 105 years, Mary inspired others as she enjoyed her life spending time with her family and friends. No place was too far for her to travel in order to be with her family. She visited her family so often that her nieces and nephews referred to her as “Their Gypsy Aunt Mary.”

She also enjoyed watching classic television shows, taking vacations to Disney World and going on cruises up until she was 101 years old. Even though she was limited to travel, she still enjoyed going to family reunions up until her death.

Mary enjoyed a marriage of 48 years to the late, John Henry Baumgard. She is predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Flemming; her son, John Henry Baumgard Jr. as well as her 4 sisters, 3 brothers and 2 grandchildren. Mary will be dearly missed by her loving family which includes her daughter, Elizabeth Kallinger; her grandchildren, Mary Jo Gourley, David Flemming, Debbie Flemming, Michael (Rhonda) Kallinger, Diane (Tom) Kline, James (Denice) Kallinger and Bonnie (Joseph) Boyle, as well as 15 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren.

Mary’s viewing will be held on Monday (Jan. 8th) from 11 am until 12 noon in in the Limerick Garden of Memories Chapel, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA; a time of sharing thoughts, memories and love will be offered afterwards by Mary’s family and friends beginning at 12 noon. Entombment will follow thereafter.
