Beth E. Yanocha, 67, widow of Edward Yanocha, died Thursday, January 4, in Pottstown Hospital – Tower Health due to complicati­ons from a stroke.

She was born in Phoenixvil­le to the late Eugene and Caroline (Lee) Halteman and lived most of her life in Spring City. A graduate of Spring Ford High School, she was a member of The Spring City United Methodist Church, and later attended The Trinity Lighthouse Church.

Beth worked as a Special Education Paraprofes­sional at Perkiomen Valley High School for 33 years and recently retired this past June. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters and friends, watching the Philadelph­ia Eagles, attending PV sporting events and reading. Her love of animals led her to feeding the deer in her back yard, but her favorite animal was her cat, Lucky.

She is survived by her son, Matt Yanocha, husband of Angie of Eagleville; her sisters Sandra Boettger, widow of the late Jon Boettger, and Janet Kandler, wife of Ted Kandler; and several nieces and nephews. She was predecease­d by her sister Carol Vining, wife of Barry Vining.

Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday, January 10, at 11:00 AM at The Trinity Lighthouse Church 66 S. Limerick Road, Royersford, PA, with the Rev. Wayne Houck officiatin­g. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be held privately.
