I read that on Tuesday night the new Pottstown mayor and council members were sworn in. Presently there’s only an interim borough manager. I hope whoever gets hired has some fresh new ideas for this town other than wanting to raise taxes 18 percent. Sheryl Miller you had some great ideas but Weand and Flanders didn’t want to hear it. Maybe you could consider running for council president the next time around. I know you could turn this town around. Reedy

Get ’em out of here. These people are in this country breaking the law therefore they are criminals. Therefore they shouldn’t be here. Therefore there is no DACA. They are criminals, send them back where they came from. They do not belong here. Fact We see the latest fairy tale came out in fake news. It’s called this Mr. Wolff’s book. What a joke. It says President Trump didn’t want to be president. Hey folks if that’s true that means why would he collude with the Russians to get to be president? This is to Bob from Birchrunville. You talk about the chaos. I don’t think we’ve ever had chaos this much in my 79 years of living compared to Donald Trump’s chaos. Besides that, they’re even talking about nuclear war. We’re closer now than we’ve ever been. So chaos, you’re right. Trump is right there.

My comment is for all of those who are diehard Trump supporters. Read the book “Fire and Fury” or go online and see some of the outlandish comments that are made by Donald Trump. You won’t see that on Fox News.

The recent cold spell we’ve experienced was weather not climate. There is a difference. At the same time as our cold spell Sydney, Australia, recorded a temperature of 117 degrees, their hottest since 1939. This extreme cold and hot weather is being driven by global warming altering the past patterns of ocean currents and global air movement. Here is common sense logic. Apple investors want Apple to encourage parents to stop their kids’ iPhone addiction. It’s called take away the phone or better yet don’t buy them one at the age of five. There, I just told you how to stop the addiction from all the kids being on that phone 24 hours a day but yet people don’t have that common sense. I’m glad I’m smarter than all of you.

The roads Monday night on the way home during rush hour, North Coventry roads remained pretty wet and safe but East Coventry as soon as you hit there they were dangerous and icy. So chalk up another one for North Coventry.

Dinesh D’Souza writes a book about Barack Obama and nobody seems to bat an eye, even pay any attention to it. But some Michael Wolff guy writes a book about President Trump and all of a sudden the world is coming to an end, he’s childish and this and that, all from a fictionalized book. Half the stuff in there probably isn’t even true anyway. If somebody wants to get behind something start reading Dinesh D’Souza’s books.

For those who watch “The Bachelor” and have time to watch a two or three-hour show, just one comment. Get a life and try to do better things with your life. There are better things to do with your life.

Yes it is true that unreimbursed business expenses have been eliminated under the new tax plan. You can thank your friend Rep. Ryan Costello for voting for that.

I see where someone complained about Comcast raising their prices this year. Well I have news for you, they raise them every year. So don’t go blaming Donald Trump for Comcast raising their prices.
