Buchert Ridge
A 55+ community where neighbors feel like family
LOWER POTTSGROVE » I have lived at Buchert Ridge Community for over five years now, and I believe it was the very best decision I could have made.
Packing up and leaving a home and neighborhood that you’ve lived in for many years is not an easy thing to do. It is scary and seems so overwhelming that you might keep putting it off. There are so many places to choose from — how can you be sure you will make the right choice?
I chose Buchert Ridge, and I’d like to tell you why.
Buchert Ridge is different from most over 55 developments. First of all, it is a neighborhood of friends, not just a development. It offers many benefits not found in “ordinary” over 55 housing. Maintenance of our townhomes (including appliances) is incorporated in the monthly fee, along with grass cutting and snow and trash removal. Twenty-four-hour emergency assistance is available at the push of a button.
Secondly, the “staff” is composed of caring, efficient people I think of as friends, not just employees. Neighbors look out for one another here. If, for some reason, you need a ride to the doctors, the hairdressers, the supermarket or Boscov’s, all you need to do is ask — one of us will make sure you get there and back. Your beloved pet, if you have one (or two), can come here with you. My cats, Chloe and Darcy, spend many hours in my wonderful sunroom. I have many new friends I’ve met here. We have such good times together. We have breakfast every Tuesday in our Community Center, we get together for dominoes and bingo and we go out for lunch and shopping. In short, you can be as busy here as you choose to be.
Buchert Ridge is within close proximity to Pottstown Hospital as well as doctors’ offices, shopping, movie theaters, restaurants, a senior center and more. If you are considering a move to an over 55 community, come see what Buchert Ridge has to offer. Moving here might just be the best decision you make this year.
