Daniel B. Kulp Jr., age 94, husband for 68 years of Pearl E. (Ludwick) Kulp, of Kimberton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at home. Born on February 10, 1923 in Phoenixvil­le, PA, he was a son of the late Daniel B. Sr. and Grace (Quay) Kulp.

A veteran, Mr. Kulp served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of Centennial Lutheran Church in Kimberton. He owned and operated the Dan Kulp Garage in Kimberton, enjoyed antique cars, and was an active member of the Chester County Antique Car Club as well as the Model A Car Club. Mr. Kulp also proudly served on the board of the Northern Chester County Technical High School and was a long-time member of the Kimberton Fire Company.

Mr. Kulp is survived by two daughters, Pearl A., wife of Frederick Ruccius of Malvern, PA, and Susan K., wife of David McCafferty of Spring City, PA; one sister, Betty Weber of Wernersvil­le, PA; three grandchild­ren, Hilary Ruccius, Shon (Kasey) McCafferty, and Sarah Rossiter; and five great-grandchild­ren, Lexi, Gretchen, and MacKenzie McCafferty, Christian Santos and Julia Rinkes. He was preceded in death by one sister, Grace Taney.

Services will be held privately at the convenienc­e of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
