Michael Patrick “Mike” Burke, 39, of Westminster, MD passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 surrounded by his family at Carroll Hospice Dove House, after a courageous 2 year battle with lung cancer.
Mike was born on July 15, 1978 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania and was the son of Richard Francis Burke of Phoenixville, PA and Susan Jane (Montgomery) Burke-Mangano and her husband Joseph Mangano of Ocean City, New Jersey. His competitive nature advanced him to become the director of ticket sales and hospitality for 18 years. Mike was a devoted father to his four children. He loved spending time with them; especially coaching their basketball and soccer teams.
Surviving in addition to his parents and wife are adoring children; twins Brennan Michael Burke and Christian Michael Burke, Adam Michael Burke, and Lily Elizabeth Burke; brother Christopher Montgomery Burke of Philadelphia, PA; numerous beautiful nieces and nephews; and a loving large extended family.
