Barbara J. (Hartman) Hill, 84

Barbara J. (Hartman) Hill, 84, wife of the late Ralph P. Hill, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Chestnut Knoll, Boyertown. She was a former resident of Lower Frederick Twp.

Mrs. Hill was born on November 8, 1933, in West Lawn, Berks Co., to the late J. Edwin and Edith F. (Hill) Hartman. She was a graduate of Collegeville – Trappe High School.

Before retiring, Mrs. Hill worked for the Collegeville – Trappe Joint Public Works Dept. and Collegeville Flag & Mfg. Co.

Mrs. Hill was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schwenksville. She was a longtime volunteer at the Coatesville VA Medical Center.

Mrs. Hill is survived by her son, Robert D. Hill, Winston – Salem, NC, and his girlfriend, Dustta Haines; her granddaughter, Brittany Hill; her brothers, J. Edwin “Jack,” husband of Mary Lou (Rehberg) Hartman, Elverson, and George L. Hartman, Wilmington, DE; her stepdaughter, Donna (George), wife of Thomas Henry; and her step-granddaughter, Jennifer Henry.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 17th, at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Daniel M. Schaefer, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Augustus Lutheran Cemetery, Trappe. Friends may call from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, Saturday, church.
