Gerrymandering is a hot topic in the news but why is the issue of non-citizens registered to vote in Pennsylvania not being covered? There was testimony given that thousands of non-citizens are registered to vote in Pennsylvania especially Philadelphia due to a problem with PennDOT and license renewals. Why is this not being addressed or covered by the media? Maybe it serves one party over another.

This is to the Pottstown Borough, how about fixing the holes at the corner of Queen Street and Moser Road? They look like craters and they’ve been there almost a month. Also in the 1000 and 1100 block of Queen Street, you can fill in a bunch of holes in there. Let’s do our job.

This is in response to the person who asked if the Wine and Spirits stores were open in Philadelphia for the parade for the Eagles. I went to the parade and I went by a couple of them and yes, they were open. There were lines of people waiting to get into the stores. To the state stores it is all about the almighty dollar. They don’t care what happens. Eight million people and Philadelphia’s reputation and the state stores were open. God help us all.

Can’t wait to see how Fox News puts its spin on the 13 Russian indictments. Are they going to call it fake news or are they finally going to admit that the Russians played a major role in our 2016 elections?

Donald Trump is the law and order president except on domestic abuse, Russia and paying taxes.

Hey Donald, Hillary was right. Putin’s playing you like a puppet. Ha, ha, ha.

FBI, if you guys would be alert and on the job maybe when this official in Florida brought to your attention about Nicholas Cruz who posted all this stuff online and said that he wanted to be a professional school shooter you might have done something about it instead of saying you didn’t have enough information or couldn’t really match it up properly. Maybe this wouldn’t have happened. You sure do a fine job about Trump the way you lied about everything there, but this? Mom’s Mobley

I would like to see a study done in the correlation between mass murderers, school shooters, etc. and the number of violent videos and movies they have viewed. I believe the violence on videos and games has an adverse effect on some people. A Concerned Senior Citizen

Kudos to the Phoenixville Area School District for the performance last Thursday of Fred Morsell presenting “Frederick Douglass, His Life and Times.” One of the best presentations I’ve ever seen. Very interesting and informative and well very well done. Kimberton

H.R. McMaster, Donald Trump’s national security adviser, said “The indictments show evidence of Russia meddling in our 2016 election beyond dispute.” Donald Trump can no longer call this investigation a witch hunt. Seems like they’re closing in on Trump and his merry men.

The person that claimed they are getting $50 more in their weekly paycheck because of the new tax bill means you make at least $100,000 or more a year. How many people that read this column make that much? The average paycheck in the United States is $50,000 and you need to make at least $75,000 to see an increase in your paycheck.

On Sunday afternoon we went to see “Snoopy” at Boyertown Area Senior High School. Mr. Scott Didyoung and Jeffrey, it was wonderful. It was a packed house and I could’ve stayed to see it a second time. The dancing and the singing was amazing. Thank you.
