Eileen Alice (Devlin) Morell, 81, of Folcroft

Eileen Alice (Devlin) Morell, 81, of Folcroft, PA passed away peacefully on February 26, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at home.

Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Julia (Downing) Devlin. Eileen was the wife of the late John J. Morell, Sr.

Eileen was a graduate of Saint Agnes HS, West Chester, PA. She retired from Guy’s Cold Cuts in Glenolden after many years of service. She was a long-time member of St. Gabriel R.C. Church in Norwood. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching Phillies games on TV. She was a strong, kind and generous woman who will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her six children, Sharon (Tom) Custer, John (Helen) Morell, Frank (Dee) Morell, Cathy Morell, Eileen (David) Winans, Sheila (Tony) Lerro, thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many, many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Sister Francis Devlin and Mary (Jack) Stevenson.

A viewing will be held on Friday, March 2nd, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Cavanagh Funeral Home, Chester Pike, Norwood, and again Saturday morning 8:30 – 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel Church in Norwood. Burial will be at S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
