Arlene J. Geisler 80, of Stowe PA, passed away Thursday, March 1st, 2018.

Born in Stowe, PA, on June 15th 1937, Arlene was the daughter of the late Mary Varady (Novak) and William Varady.

Arlene was a 1955 graduate of West Pottsgrove High School, Stowe, PA.

She worked several jobs throughout her life in the hosiery, restaurant, retail, hotel and semiconduc­tor fields retiring from Recticon, Pottstown PA as a polisher. Arlene maintained many friendship­s throughout her work career and cherished her memories with the group from Recticon.

Arlene also spent many years babysittin­g for relatives and family friends and maintained a lasting friendship with her special friends Lauren Covatta of Mt. Penn and Anthony Covatta of Douglassvi­lle PA.

She also enjoyed sharing many of her crafting projects with family and friends.

She is survived by siblings: Marianne Reigner of Elgin, Illinois, Carol S. Myers, wife of Reverand James D.Myers of Bernville, PA and John A. Varady, husband of Kathleen (Panfile), Boyertown, PA.

Arlene is survived by her sons: Robert M. Geisler who resides at Manor Care, Pottstown PA and William S. Geisler of West Reading, PA.

She is also survived by her loving granddaugh­ter, Laura Elizabeth Geisler of Malvern, PA.

Arlene was blessed with a compassion­ate group of cousins, nieces and nephews.

It is her wish that you keep her son Robert in your thoughts and prayers as he has been enduring a long struggle with Huntington­s Disease.

The family would like to extend their appreciati­on to the staff of Manor care, Pottstown for the care of both Arlene and her son Robert and would also like to thank the exemplary staff of Caring Hospice Services for their tender care of Arlene in the remaining days of her life.

It was also her wish to have her remains used for the purpose of medical research.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 10th, 2018 at St. Pauls Church, Stowe PA. A visitation with the family will begin at 10:30AM with a service to follow at noon.

In lieu of flowers, contributi­ons can be made in memory of Arlene to St. Pauls Church, 653 Glasgow Street, Stowe, PA 19464.
