A man who took part in two bank robberies, including one in Phoenixville, will spend 32 years in prison.

PHILADELPHIA » A fourth man has been sentenced to over 32 years in federal prison in connection with two bank robberies that took place in Lower Merion and Phoenixville in November 2013.

The latest defendant sentenced was Malcolm Moore, 24, of Philadelphia.

Co-conspirator Marquis Wilson, 26, of Philadelphia was previously sentenced to 519 months in prison while Martril Foster, 22 and Calia Kane, 23, both of Philadelphia were sentenced to 84 and 70 months each.

The first of the two robberies took place Nov. 4, 2013, at the Wells Fargo Bank at 307 Levering Mill Road in Bala Cynwyd when three men wearing ski masks entered the bank with at least one handgun and took over $81,000. Kane was an employee at the bank and gave information to the others.

The second robbery took place Nov. 12, 2013, at a Wells Fargo Bank branch at 200 Schuylkill Road in Phoenixville when they got away with over $70,000.

According to the indictment when they were charged, Kane entered the Bala Cynwyd bank for her normal shift. Wilson, Moore and Foster drove to the bank together and waited until Kane notified them when it was a good time to enter the bank.

Prosecutors said Moore carried a .40 caliber semiautomatic pistol while Wilson took in a black duffle bag. Foster locked the front door after they entered the bank. Moore ordered everyone in the bank to the ground while pointing his weapon at bank employees.

The indictment then said the four met later and began looking at other Wells Fargo banks for a second robbery when they selected the Wells Fargo Bank branch in Phoenixville. The group originally drove to the bank Nov. 11 but then after learning it was closed, they went back Nov. 12.

Prosecutors said Kane entered the bank first in order to check. After notifying the others, Wilson, Moore and Foster entered the bank at about 11 a.m. wearing masks and dark clothing.
