This is to the Boyertown taxpayer. Another reason why the school district doesn’t have any money, they start projects and they can’t finish it. The road to nowhere from Madison to Montgomery streets is just one nasty big money pit. They paid the houses across the street already to prepare for taking their property but they haven’t finished anything. They just left it in one big mess. We hired a contractor and they never came back to finish the job. So that’s Boyertown for you.

I would be interested to know how many of the people who died with the flu actually got the flu shot. They don’t specify how many of those people had the shot and how many didn’t.

I was on my way out on Saturday night for a night of fun at Imperial Catering to see the Frankie Valli tribute. My car got disabled in the parking lot. Three gentlemen offered to help. It didn’t work. Bob, owner of Imperial Catering, offered to take care of it. He told us to go in and enjoy ourselves and he would take care of my car. He did and I’m really grateful for his help. Loved Tom Hylton’s commentary in Tuesday’s Mercury on the YMCA and kudos to Don Smale for finally addressing those people from Philadelphia who are running the Y in our area. Our own board sold out to them several years ago and now we are paying the price. Hope something can be done.
