Hey weather people who forecast the weather, you did it again. All I heard the night before was supposedly the big nor’easter. We were going to get 3 to 6 inches or possibly even 1 to 10, then changing it again to 7 to 15. We got 3 inches up here in Stowe. So congratulations especially what you get paid and you always are wrong like 80 or 90 percent of the time. Must be nice.

That snowstorm that we got this past week to me was fake news. Snowed In

Hours after the March 7 snow in Pottstown, Adams Street was cleared to the macadam and two-plus lanes cleared and a neighbor’s sidewalk was shoveled. A borough plow then had to come by and push snow back on that sidewalk which is why they get 2 or 3 percent raises a year? Bruce Madara To all the drivers and delivery people, Berks Street at the top is at the end of the borough. Crossing over Glasgow Street is Stowe. Packages are left at my door when they can’t find the right house. It’s very annoying. Please check your routes. Doorbell Lady

In the 1990s every Evangelical asked the Democrats how could they support Bill Clinton. This proves that Democrats are immoral and don’t care about anything but power. This is what we heard every week. Now the Democrats are asking the same thing of Evangelicals. Really, is there any difference? How can they call this porn star payoff not true? They have pictures folks and a paper trail. Clark S. Kent

It is true many people received one-time tax cut bonuses. However many hardworking workers like 18-wheeler will see less taxes taken out of their pay through 2025. It’s not one time. The bill expires in 2025 because not one Democrat voted for it. I believe it will be extended unless the Democrats take control. Voting it down would not go over very well. For The People

Do you people realize the stiff tariffs we pay other countries to import American goods? Also besides steel and aluminum China manufactures clothing and sends it to other countries to insert the other countries’ labels to control the amount of goods they ship to the U.S. to avoid the breach of tariff liabilities. Wake up U.S.

I’m glad The Mercury found two children playing in the snow because I couldn’t. In the good old days you would see snowmen all over the place. I found one snowman and one fort.

I am insulted by people trying to make me feel guilty and intimidated because I am for legal immigration. Their signs insinuate that you are hateful if you want legal immigration. They try to bully and distort the truth. I don’t hate because I want people to obey the law and come legally into the country. It’s not only fair to all Americans but especially to the immigrants who obeyed the law and came here legally and live here legally. There’s no double standard, the law is for all people. To One Legged Vet, thank you so much for your service and sacrifices. We are so blessed to have been born here. Also to Truth Be Told, thank you for Wednesday’s comment. I appreciate the people not blinded by all the false information in the media and elsewhere and I pray for all eyes to be open. Also whoever quoted 1 Thessalonians, most appropriate to what’s going on. God bless us all. Lady Di

Arming teachers with guns, this is one of the most absurd ideas ever. My suggestion is hire vets as security. The unemployment and homeless rate for vets is very high for these men and women. They are trained and they would not run from the situation but rather into the situation to prevent harm. Most importantly safety and kindness begins at home. Mother Of A Teacher

Stay tuned and pay attention to the meeting in the Seychelles, a back channel to Russia. Jay Miller

Don’t sell yourself short Jim Fitch, you are truly outstanding. Training therapy dogs to bring hope and peace to people in need defines you as a humanitarian. Multi-talented, your humorous narratives bring smiles to all who read The Mercury. Martha

I paid for my two children to go to college. Why should I now pay a Montgomery County Community College tax for other people’s children to go? Unconstitutional.

I see where March 8 is now International Women’s Day. Is there an International Men’s Day or would that be considered by the liberals in the far left as sexist?

I recently ate in a Mexican restaurant where the food was so authentic I’m surprised President Trump hasn’t built a wall around it.
