Ronald T. Buinevic, 71, of Linfield
Ronald T. Buinevic, age 71, husband of Dorothy (Banks) Buinevic, of Linfield, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 in his residence. Born on February 9, 1947 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Helen (Loudis) and Stanley Buinevic.
Ron graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education on January 24, 1969. He served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard as a medic for six years until his honorable discharge on November 16, 1974. After college, Ron was a member of the “infamous” Valley Forge Ski Club, and for several years, traveled the world testing the slopes in many famous ski resorts.
Ron and his parents purchased the Halfway House Tavern in Pottstown on February 26, 1981. They ran a successful business before selling it 15 years later.
He was a social member of the Liberty Fire Co. in Spring City, Royersford VFW, Spring City American Legion and the American-Italian Bocce Club, Royersford.
In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by his children: Stacy M. Buinevic, of Seattle, WA and Alexander E. Buinevic, of Collegeville, PA; and his granddaughter: Makayla Buinevic, of Collegeville.
