Edward A. Rutter of Lower Frederick Twp.

Edward A. Rutter, 77, husband of Anne E. (Golden) Rutter, Lower Frederick Twp., died Monday, March 12, 2018, at Grand View Hospital, W. Rockhill Twp., Bucks Co.

Mr. Rutter was born on November 23 1940, in Darby, Delaware County., to the late Clyde and Thelma (Comley) Rutter. He was a Schwenksville High School graduate, attended Temple University, and served in the US Marines from 1958 to 1961. Before retiring, Mr. Rutter was a technical instructor for Honeywell and Siemens.

Mr. Rutter was a member of Heidelberg United Church Of Christ; a member of Washington Camp #387, Patriotic Order Sons Of America, Schwenksville; an active member of the Playcrafters of Skippack.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Rutter is survived by his sons, Andrew, husband of Karen (Richardson) Rutter, Columbia, TN, Glen Rutter, Orange County, CA, and Neil Rutter, Boyertown; and his grandsons, Zane and Briggs Rutter. He was preceded in death by his brother Clyde Rutter, Jr.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 16th, at Heidelberg United Church Of Christ, 251 Perkiomen Ave., Schwenksville, with the Rev. Dan Clark, Interim Pastor, officiating. Interment will be private and held at a later date.
