I just wanted to say thanks to Brookside Country Club for a wonderful and well planned event that was held on Sunday. There was something there for everyone. I enjoy seeing how nice the grounds look in the spring, summer and fall but now I can also include winter. Pottstown is lucky to have this country club and golf course in our community. Congratulations to the Pottstown School District and the student actors for their wonderful production of “The Little Mermaid.” Director Chris Sperat and Orchestra Conductor Mike did an excellent job. The stage lighting, sound and the costumes were all excellent. Thank you for a wonderful production.

I’d like to know where I can find information on the students at Montgomery County Community College that I’m paying $70 a year to help fund. I’d like to know whether the courses they’re taking are contributing to getting a better education, a higher education or if it helps them get a job. I don’t mind helping pay for the community college as long as it’s not for some creative arts or creative dance class that has no value later in life. The King

To all those people who are concerned about downtown Pottstown, well it’s going to always be like that. It’s just turned into another Norristown and the only way you’re going to get rid of that problem is you have to get rid of the drugs. It’s that simple. You find the dealers and you simply make the dealers disappear and it’s amazing how fast Pottstown will come back.
You know every year more children under 21 die from heroin than they do from handguns or any gun. So you kids out there you decide what battle you think you need to fight.
