Hello, are there any representatives out there working on school property tax reform? A local school district spending $88,000 to add two additional buses in part because kids are misbehaving, is a perfect example of why tax reform is needed. They just love the endless pool of taxpayers’ money. For The People

Congratulations to the Boyertown National Honor Society for their “Seniors with Seniors” dance and Boyertown Middle School West for raising over $35,000 for Relay for Life. Proud of you. Mr. Wade

A bridge falls in Florida and kills howmany people. I guess we should ban bridges. Guns don’t kill people. People behind the gun and using it kill people. Maybe we should ban people as well.

This is to everybody complaining about the Montgomery County Community College tax we had shoved down our throats. This is all Josh Shapiro’s midnight tax baby. He pulled this over us right before he left theMontgomery County Board of Commissioners with no reason. What is he getting in return is the question and then you people vote him in as Pennsylvania attorney general.

If you’re a Trump supporter I truly feel sorry for you because if you look at Trump you’ll suddenly realize he is an egotistical, non-sensible, unintelligent human being. Trump is very simple. If you do not agree with him or contradict him you’re fired. It’s that plain and simple. It’s his way or no way. If you still trust him I hope you can pray because that’s what this country is going to need, God to intervene.

Those seeking another reason to toss Sen. Bob Casey Jr. from office have one. Local banks were not parties to the economic collapse of ’08 but were burdened with DoddFrank regulatory costs which forced many to be acquired or shutter their doors. Casey voted for Dodd-Frank which institutionalized “too big to fail” bailouts and just opposed Senate Bill 2155, designed to provide regulatory relief to smaller banks. Mark Furlong

Now that Trump’s Republican puppet lost in Pennsylvania, Trump is boasting that the winner Conor Lamb ran like a Republican mirroring himself. Well Conor Lamb is against tax cuts, he is pro choice, he’s against any cuts in Medicaid/Medicare, he’s for universal background checks on guns, he supports medical marijuana and most of all he supports Obamacare. That is far from a Republican. Clark S. Kent

To all these people that are hollering about sanctions against Russia for interfering with our elections, I’m just curious, how many countries have we overthrown with their elections and how many elections did we interfere with in other countries? Isn’t that being a little bit hypocritical? Just curious.

Hey I’ve got a suggestion. I see all these students marching about guns. You know what? Guns don’t kill people, bridges do. Look at Miami.

You may not be concerned about Putin being in the White House but you will be concerned if he can control our electric grid which they say he’s got his finger on the button now. Jay Miller

Sarah Huckabee Sanders has aged 10 years since she has taken on the impossible job of defending her president. Burn out is inevitable. You have to wonder how long she can last. Facts Matter

So now Rep. Ryan Costello is involved in a lawsuit about the voter redistricting areas because he thinks it will affect his chances of winning a third congressional term. Last year he was afraid to hold meetings with constituents so he wouldn’t be harmed. The perks of being a Washington politician are obviously greater than one’s personal safety. Wonder exactly what will make Costello conquer his fears. Disgusted

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has issued a formal demand for documents from the Trump organization as part of his wide-ranging inquiry into Russian interference in the 2016 election. On Friday Trump’s lawyers called for an end to the investigation. It sounds like Mueller is getting too close for Trump. Could it be that Trump has something to hide? Remember, in criminal affairs the fish always rots from the head down. DP

A huge American thank you to officers Peifer and Stoudt in the West Pottsgrove Police Department. They came to the aid of an old lady who lost her balance and sat down on the floor. Having bad knees she could not get up herself. Minutes after she called, the officers arrived and got her back on her feet. No damage done. Praise the Lord. Again thank you officers. I offered to pay them or send thema check. They said no, they were just glad to help.

The news reported last week that the Russians had hacked the computer controls of a mid-western power plant and could close it down at will. If true this should transcend any other hacking concerns by far.
