Ernest H. Young III of Wellsboro

Ernest H. Young, III, age 54, of Wellsboro, PA, formerly of Linfield, PA died after battling cancer over the last 18 months on March 10, 2018 in his home. He was born October 17, 1963 in Carnegie, PA. He was a son of the late Alice (Halloren) Young and Ernest H. Young, Jr. (Barbara Ruoss Seifrit Young). Ernest was the husband of Mary (Marble) Young. He worked at the Phillips Bros Electrical Company in Glenmoore, PA, and Shell Gas Drilling Co in Mansfield, PA. He enjoyed fishing, baseball and spending time with his numerous nieces and nephews. Ernie was a member of the Church of the New Covenant, Mansfield, PA, the Quoit Club in Pottstown and the Friendship Fire Company in Royersford, PA.

In addition to his wife, Mary, Ernie is survived by Three Stepsons; William (Betty) White, of Wellsboro, PA, Shawn (Katelyn) White, of Coudersport, PA, Jeremiah (Shannon) Wimbrough of Coudersport, PA, Five Siblings; Larry (Bridgett) Young, of San Diego, CA, Leonard Young of Royersford, PA, Steven Young of York, PA, Lorraine (Jim) Bender, of Pittsburgh, PA, Laura (Harry) McKelvey, of Colonial Heights, VA, StepSisters; Mary Parke of Bowling Green, FL, Sara Barrette, of Holt, MO, Iona Partlow, of Pottstown, PA, Cassie Seifrit, of York, PA, StepBrother; Joseph Seifrit, of Reading, PA. He was preceded in death by Step-Sister; Irene Bowers.

Funeral services and burial were held on March 14, 2018 in Mansfield, PA. Local arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA.
