Dorothy Joan (Davidson) Fronheiser, 86, of Topton, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the loving wife of Vernon B. Fronheiser, whom she married on June 24, 1950.

Born in Bryn Mawr, Montgomery County, Dorothy was a daughter of the late Raymond Davidson, Sr., and the late Mary L. (Barr) Davidson, and attended St. John-Hill U.C.C. Church, Boyertown.

Dorothy was employed as a sewing machine operator, having worked at the former Superior Underwear Mill, Bechtelsvi­lle, General Seating and Sash Co., Topton, and Royal Manufactur­ing, Alburtis.

She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Faith Chapter #444, Boyertown, The Red Hat Society, and a former Girl Scout Leader in Huffs Church. Dorothy enjoyed jig-saw puzzles, reading, quilting, playing poker and BINGO. Most importantl­y, Dorothy loved spending time with her two grandchild­ren.

Survivors: In addition to her husband of 67 years, Vernon, Dorothy is survived by her two children, V. Kirlin, husband of Tina C. (Kline) Fronheiser, Alburtis, and Mary Lou (Fronheiser) Keiser, Topton; two grandchild­ren, Chase R. Keiser and Hadyn D. Keiser; sister, Dolores “Duckie” J. (Davidson) Badman and brother, Thomas E. Davidson, both of Kutztown. Dorothy was predecease­d by her parents, sister, Virginia L. (Davidson) Martin and a brother, Raymond “Sonny” Davidson, Jr.

Services: A memorial service to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Dr. Robert Santucci, Chaplain of Lehigh Valley Hospice, officiatin­g. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday afternoon from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
