Julia P. Polk, 60, of Boyertown

Julia P. (Friedel) Polk, 60, of Boyertown, passed away on Monday, March 19 at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania after a brief fight with an illness.

Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Patricia (Leggett) Jensen and the late Sebastian F. Friedel.

Julia loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed going to Ocean City Maryland and spending time at the beach. She loved ballet, Classical Rock music, and Maryland Blue crabs.

Surviving are children Nicole Staton, Colt Staton, and Brittany laird; brothers Stephen Friedel, husband of Kathie, and Gary Jones; and grandchildren Dyllan, Callie, Sierra, Kayliana, Brianna, and Cody.

A memorial service will be Saturday, March 24, 3:00PM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 1020 E. Phila. Ave., Gilbertsville. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00PM to 2:45PM at the funeral home.
