I’m a senior in my 80s living on my own small pension and a small Social Security and I can hardly make ends meet. Can somebody please call in and tell me what Gov. Wolf has done for the seniors to deserve to be reelected in November? I don’t feel he’s done anything for the seniors. I have many friends who are losing their homes because they can’t afford the taxes. An Unhappy Senior

I would like to thank Tom Hylton for his investigation into the YMCA. I personally think the state attorney general should investigate the Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA and the money that was spent somewhere other than the Pottstown YMCA.

Just a comment about the Pottstown YMCA. I know they might be closing but I’m just curious what the Pottstown School Board has to do with the YMCA. Why are they involved in that? I don’t understand that. Maybe someone can explain it. I just hope I don’t have to start paying money out of my paycheck now to fund that place. I never go there. Just like the college here in Pottstown.

No one believes me when I tell him that the violence will get worse, especially with these protesters out here yelling and screaming peace, peace, peace. And there will be no peace. In listening to the news it’s going to get worse. It’s going to move on into the center of the world. It is headed our way. It’s going to be worldwide. What you need to be doing instead of protesting is talking to God and getting close to him, getting it spiritually right.

It’s funny how Trump gets the blame for fake news. The media had shown its bias during the whole campaign year. They don’t hide their hatred and disdain for Trump. They refuse to report any progress, but to ignore all the corruption that has been going on at the DNC, FBI and past administration is truly deplorable. I know where to look for honest and unbiased reporting and it sure isn’t the internet. Remember the Chicken Little story? Laughing out loud. Lady Di

This is to the person who says they’re sorry about the kids trying to get something done at least for the gun laws. Tell that to the 17 who didn’t make it. Sorry.

This bullying in school has got to stop. I hate to say it but some, not many, teachers also bully the kids. I’ve seen it. It’s got to stop. No child should be made fun of in school. No wonder people are home schooling children. It’s going to come to that more over time.

Here’s something to think about. Callers called in a few times about the proposed or possibility of a 25-cent a gallon federal gas tax for the highways. Instead of worrying about it you should be contacting your representatives. They need to figure out how these hybrids that don’t use much gas and electric cars that use basically none but still use the highways, how are they going to make them pay their fair share? Get on the phone, give your reps a call. They’re waiting for you.

I hope that Trump keeps campaigning for candidates that he supports. It’s working out well for Democrats.

This is to Jay Miller. I don’t know what’s a bigger joke, you calling Obama a patriot or Bill Clinton saying he never had sex with that woman.

After we pass the largest tax cut in decades, Democrats have made it clear they will raise your taxes if they win control of Congress in the midterms. And can you believe this, they actually expect you to vote for them? As crazy as this sounds but with the liberal media pushing their cause, they just may get away with it. Truth Be Told

I’m calling about the Y closing. That goes directly against the organization’s mandate and mission to serve the youth and the elderly in our area who are unable to drive to a further site, and that’s totally heartless, money grubbing and nasty. Leslie

I want to praise the post office. I live in Wood Gate. We have no problem coming or going with the mail. My daughter and her family live in Alaska. For half a dollar we send mail thousands of miles away to each other. No complaints from me. Sanatoga Sam

Thank you President Obama for being a patriot and showing our country what a patriot really is supposed to be by spying on an opposing political party, doubling the national debt, tearing apart the military, dividing our country blacks against whites, singlehandedly destroying the economy, health care, foreign policy and most of all our chance at national unity. He had a chance to unite us as a country and decided to divide us. What a wasted opportunity.
