Patricia A. (Litishin) Slawecki, 80, of Phoenixvil­le, PA died on Friday, April 6, 2018 in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixvil­le, PA.

She was born on March 25, 1938 in Phoenixvil­le, PA to the late Michael and Anne (Selfinger) Litishin.

Pat graduated from Phoenixvil­le High School in 1955. She attended the Paralegal Institute of Chester County.

She worked as secretary to the Vice President/Controller of Phoenixvil­le Steel Corp. from 1955 to 1963, administra­tive assistant in Human Resources of Phoenixvil­le Steel Corp. from 1972-1980, legal secretary at Pepper Hamilton Law Firm in Berwyn for 18 years, and in 2006 was receptioni­st at the Valley Forge Medical Center in Norristown.

As an active member of Sacred Heart Church, she was president and active worker of the Sacred Heart Women’s Guild, served on Parish Council for six years, and was chairperso­n for the church picnics for six years.

She was a docent at the Schuylkill Heritage Center, member of the Polish Club, former member of the Soroptimis­t Club and Business & Profession­al Women’s Club, former Judge of Elections, and poll worker. She was also a charter member of the Valley Forge Military Academy Parents Associatio­n.

She is survived by a son, Chris and wife Jill Slawecki, and daughter Kelli Groh; 3 grandchild­ren: Sarah Jane Slawecki, Christian James Slawecki, John Michael Groh; 2 greatgrand­daughters: Autumn Angelique and Josephine Marie; brother Edward and wife Scottie Litishin and sister Dianne and husband Frank Ponzio, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brother, Joseph Litishin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 148 Church Street, Phoenixvil­le, PA on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

A viewing will be held at the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 Main Street, Phoenixvil­le, PA on Tuesday evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Memorials may be given in the form of Mass cards and or contributi­on to Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
