Pottstown should be like some boroughs and townships where each household can pick their own trash and recycling hauler. Pottstown is the worst. When those guys empty the trash bin and the recycling bin instead of putting it back up on the sidewalk where they got it they leave it on the street. So when you come home you have to put it back up on the sidewalk before you can park your car.

Don’t feel too bad about the deputy FBI director getting fired. Where else can you get fired for allegedly lying and then have a gofundme page at last count worth over $700,000? Only in Washington, D.C. They just take care of their own and come up smelling like a rose.

This is to all the people who allow Trump to live inside their heads rent-free. Approval rating 51 percent. Better than Obama’s at the same time in his presidency. Deal with it.

No Snake Oil

Marc Thiessen’s commentary on Trump’s wall is amazing. Trump is holding DACA hostage to fulfill his campaign promise to build a Berlin wall. Why doesn’t he produce the second piece of the campaign promise and have Mexico pay for the wall? Let’s simply accept it for what it is, a failed campaign promise and stop blaming everyone else. Our citizens do not support a wall.

I would like to state that our governor Mr. Wolf wants the taxpayers now to pay for pre-kindergarten for the children. This is totally ridiculous. I’m just going to pay for some parents to have a babysitter. Kindergarten is bad enough. Most kids didn’t even go to kindergarten and they’re the geniuses of today.

I see where Pennsylvania and New Jersey are suing the federal government over the 2020 census question “Are you a U.S. citizen?” They would like to find out where their money is being spent on non-citizens instead of citizens but I guess liberals like Jay Miller, Clark S. Kent and North Coventry Yankee are happy with something like that happening.

I‘m still waiting for Trump haters to defend the democratic position on sanctuary cities. I’m also wondering why it’s taking so long to arrest and jail these Democratic mayors and leaders who defy federal law by harboring illegal criminals. I have watched this socialist party, the decline of my country through gradualism for the last 60 years.

I’d like to thank the people on the sixth floor at the Pottstown Hospital. They were great. I was there for an overnight health problem and I would like to thank each and every one of them.

The roads are already bad enough in Pottstown and then all this construction that these guys are doing on street lights and this and that they’re tearing up the roads and making them even worse. Nothing ever gets better in Pottstown that’s for sure.

I was at the Wine and Spirits store locally where I overheard two employees talking about the fact that the state wanted them to be open for Easter. I interrupted them and I said “Don’t worry, over my dead body will that happen.” Pennsylvania will never force state stores to be open on Easter Sunday because we the people won’t stand for it.

I don’t understand why the crossing guards put those cones across Franklin Street. Afternoon dismissal is a free-for-all. Vehicles keep coming and the kids just run across Franklin Street any way they want. Doesn’t the school board know about these cones I wonder?

I thought Mexico was going to pay for the wall. Donald Trump campaigned every place he went that Mexico was going to pay for the wall. Now he’s going to put the National Guard along the wall. Legally they can’t really do anything at all except show themselves. They can’t make an arrest, they can’t hold anybody, so who’s paying for the wall? We are. We’re paying for the National Guard to stand there and look at them. What a joke.

Will the party that had an Easter egg hunt on Saturday before Easter in Memorial Park please send the children back to the Vietnam Memorial and clean up the eggs that they had thrown on the gazebo? It is disgusting how you don’t keep an eye on your children. Would you please get them to clean the mess up?

Trump is handling his failed administration the same way he handles all his failed businesses by hiring more lawyers. The problem is nobody wants to work for him. When he throws you under the bus to save his own skin you could be the one going to jail.

Health tip of the day: once you lick the frosting off the cupcake it becomes a muffin and muffins are good for you. You’re welcome.
