Claire M. Gotaskie, 86, of Phoenixville

Claire M. (Litka) Gotaskie, age 86, wife of the late Joseph E. Gotaskie, of Phoenixville, PA, died Friday, April 6, 2018 in Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Upper Providence, PA.

Born on Feb. 6, 1932 in Phoenixville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Henry Litka and Beatrice (Kulp) Litka Watts and the stepdaughter of Harlon Watts. She was a 1949 graduate of the Phoenixville High School. Mrs. Gotaskie was employed at Roberts Meat Packing Company and Acme Markets in Phoenixville. Claire enjoyed camping, playing her organ piano and going to yard sales with family and friends. She was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville.

Mrs. Gotaskie is survived by son, Joseph W. (Carol) Gotaskie, several cousins, nieces and nephews, and her dear friend Gwen McCullough.

Mrs. Gotaskie was pre-deceased by her brothers, William H. Litka and Harlan P. Watts.
