Paul V. Somerday, 81, of Boyertown

Paul V. Somerday, 81, of Boyertown, PA, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Parkhouse Providence Pointe. He was the husband of Barbara “Bobbi” (Slawecki) Somerday with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, PA on October 4, 1936, Paul was the son of the late Joseph R. Somerday and Beatrice May (Endy) Somerday.

Paul was an avid Eagles and Flyers fan.

He is survived by five children, Sherry Stetler, wife of Jim, Pottstown, PA; Keith Somerday, Reading, PA; Karl Mann, Douglassville, PA; Deb Griboski, wife of Stephen, Boyertown, PA; and Kate Cooper, Reading, PA; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Levengood, wife of Howie, Brandon Heckrote, Sarah Somerday, Gerald Overdorf, III, Colton Cooper, Cameron Cooper, Kaden Cooper, and Kaycee Cooper and four great-grandchildren, Hailey Christman, Howard Levengood, Joseph Levengood, and Parker Kochel. He is predeceased by two brothers, Rod and Rich Somerday.

Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464 will be handling the arrangements.
