I wish everyone who calls Sound Off would keep their comments focused on things that we can do something about. Forget about Trump, guns, illegals and everything else. You have no control over that. But our town, the roads, the economy and trying to get things going better with the schools is what your Sound Offs should be focused on. All that other stuff you just beat yourself up over the head with. There’s nothing you’re going to do about that so keep it local.

Attention all Pottstown residents, it’s no crime to clean up your alley. There’s no law against that so you can pick up the trash and litter.

Jimmy Kimmel, supposedly “a comedian,” is a fool. His mouth is from the bottom of a sewer. He pokes fun at people who have accomplished much more than he has in a lifetime — more intelligence, more training, more education and better abilities with the languages of the world. Jimmy Kimmel is a jerk.

Lower Pottsgrove says they need a new administration and police building because the township’s population is growing so much that they can’t handle it in the building they have. The population wouldn’t grow so much if they would stop issuing permits for these housing developments. All they want to do is build houses in the township and every time they build it costs more for schools, police and everything else. So wake up and stop issuing the building permits.

This is for the people who whine about abortion. Whine to somebody who does something good like your senator or your congressman. Whining to Sound Off doesn’t get you anywhere. It’s like whining that you need a policeman and you go to the grocery story and tell them you need a policeman.

Remember when Donald Trump announced his tariffs on steel and aluminum and was questioned that it could turn into a trade war? His answer was that trade wars are easy to win. Well, he may get his chance to prove it as China just put tariffs on 106 products including pork and soybean. The pork jobs alone support 550,000 jobs according to the National Pork Producers Council and China also buys a third of our soybeans.

For The People, abortion is the law of the land, therefore, whine all you want, day and night.

This is to the Pottsgrove school bus drivers. You have to slow down. There is a bus on State Street by Ninth Street going at least at 50 mph down State Street. He was flying and they’re doing the same thing on Manatawny Street. You need to get him on a different route if he can’t slow down. To the superintendent of the Pottsgrove School District, you need to come out and watch these buses how fast they are flying down the street. It’s not fair to the people who live here.

Does anyone know what the right weather forecast is? On Channel 3 and on Allentown on TV they give one weather forecast but what they put on your phone is completely different. Which one is the right weather?

Trump is talking about re-election. With approval ratings in the mid30s that’s not likely and he’s alienating more people every day. The latest is farmers who export their products. The tariffs will kill their livelihood. They supported him but now are abandoning him, and how are those coal mining jobs working out? Coal is not coming back and neither is Trump.

Words can’t express the disdain I have for Jimmy Kimmel after he mocked the first lady’s accent while she was reading a book to children. Where is the outrage from the Me Too movement, other immigrants with accents, CNN, MSNBC, ABC and all the other hypocrites who would have been outraged if he would have insulted Michelle Obama or Hillary Clinton?

Jay Miller, we the people pay the teachers to teach. In Pennsylvania we have a 180-day rule. If these kids want to protest on their own time, fine, but teachers should not be involved. Teachers are paid to teach true fact, not the propaganda that you and the other Marxists spew out as truth.

To all restaurant complainers, maybe the person you saw blowing their nose could be dealing with allergy issues which are present this time of the year or maybe it was just due to your noisy obnoxious kids or you using your cell phone. If this issue bothers you this much, maybe you should just stay home.
