Substance violations top crime in Pottstown

Five incidents involving drugs or alcohol were reported since April 3, according to an online police-run website.

These added chemicals in our Pottstown water lately is unacceptable. My clothes smell like Clorox. Chlorine is bad for our lungs and it can cause skin rashes and itching. Use something non-carcinogenic or provide us all with water filtration.

I totally agree with the caller who stated that the people in the township should be the ones to vote on whether or not a township building gets constructed. When you’re talking about that kind of money, six people should not have the power to make the decision alone. I also feel that schools shouldn’t be constructed by just a school board decision. The people in the township should also be involved in that decision.

I’m sure glad I moved my money a few years ago into annuities, guaranteed annuity 7.5 percent at least. I feel sorry for those people with a 401(k), the money they’re going to lose now. If Donald Trump keeps this thing with China going on you’ll lose more.

Last week Democratic senators shot down a bill banning late-term abortions. Fourteen of them were Catholics and by voting in violation of church teaching they automatically excommunicated themselves. This is about the imminent closing of the Pottstown YMCA. I understand now that some of the local legislators have been asked to intervene or help. Makes me laugh. You don’t think for a minute that these legislators didn’t know about the closing of the YMCA for awhile now especially from the higher ups at the YMCA? Now they’re getting involved. Of course you know they won’t do anything or their hands are tied and they can’t do anything. But we’ll see.

Keep your ears open for a man called Mark Robertson. He’s black, bald and he is large built and he’s got a large clear precise voice and he’s telling the leftists what’s wrong with this gun control stuff. He is telling them right. You’re going to hear about this man more. I am proud of him. I am excited. This man I think he’s going to go down in history. And yes he is black and he knows what he’s talking about. More road crews tearing up Franklin Street this week. According to recent reports all the students at the middle school are bullies, bad kids and mean girls who deserve what they get, but is it necessary to prove that point by forcing a 12-year-old to navigate through a construction site just to get home from school? I think the task force should worry more about getting businesses into Pottstown, not that dirty Y. There’s more important things than a big playground and a building. Get business into Pottstown. Come on task force work, work, work.

My children walk home from the Pottstown Middle School. It seems every day there’s a new tale of terror but Wednesday was the worst. My kids talk about running across hot tar and dodging big dump trucks. Is this really happening school board? This is simply unacceptable. Parents can you help? Here we go again, government-run space programs are now coming up with a brilliant smart idea to have outer space hotels. It’s only a 12-day stay for more than $1 million. American citizen taxpayers get ready. We’re going to be paying the bills, tips, all the luxuries, etc. Whoever came up with that idea just fire them and tell them to go back to kindergarten.
