GILBERTSVILLE » The New Hanover AARP meets on Monday, April 16, at the New Hanover Lutheran Church, Lutheran Road. Optional social time with a bring-your-own bag lunch (beverage and desserts provided) is at noon. Entertainment will be provided by Karl Houseman, pianist. Meeting is at 12:45 p.m. All those age 50 and older are invited to attend. The chapter is currently sponsoring a cleaning products drive in support of Boyertown Multi-Services. These products will go to assist those who are truly in need. All members are asked to bring to the meeting all kinds of cleaning products.
POTTSTOWN » The Membership Meeting of the
Doe Club will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, in the Regency Room of the Elks Lodge, 61 E. High St. The April program will be Casino Night.
GILBERTSVILLE » The Toastmasters Club is holding an Open House at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, at New Hanover United Methodist Church, 2211 Swamp Pike. Toastmasters can give you the confidence and skills you need to express yourself effectively in any situation. Whether you are a professional, student, parent or retired, Toastmasters is the most efficient, enjoyable and affordable way of gaining great communication skills.
