Theresa M. Kassel, 89, of Mont Clare

Theresa M. (Stecz) Kassel, 89, wife of Robert E. Kassel of Mont Clare, PA, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018.

Born in Phoenixville on August 22, 1928, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Lucskai) Stecz and graduated from Phoenixville High School in 1947. She retired from Wyeth Laboratories.

Theresa was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and enjoyed being active in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives as they were growing up.

In addition to her husband of almost 70 years, she is survived by 3 children: Robert E. and wife Sandra, Kathleen wife of Raymond Nester, Karen wife of James Caudill; 8 grandchildren: Kyle, Kevin, Keith, Kris, Kaitlynn, Andrew, Heather, and Danielle; 5 great grandchildren: Kaeden, Harper, Preston, Haley and Connor, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers: Joseph, John, Albert, Edward, and James.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Black Rock Cemetery.

A viewing will be held in the church on Friday from 8:45 to 9:45 am.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38015.
