LIMERICK » The Monthly Coffee Break, a free program that is geared toward educating seniors about health, safety and leisure topics, will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, at the Limerick Township Municipal Building, 155 S. Limerick Road, Suite 100. The topic is Project HEARTH (Helping Elderly Adults Remain in Their Homes), presented by Family Services of Montgomery County. Hours for the sale are Preview Night, Thursday, April 26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. exclusively for Friends of the library; bring your membership card or sign up for a membership at the door. Open to the public Friday, April 27, from noon to 8 p.m.; Saturday, April 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, April 29, from 1 to 4 p.m. (fill a paper grocery bag, provided by library, with books for $10). Talk: Community Resources for Seniors” held Monday, April 23, at Walnut Woods, 35 N. Walnut St., Boyertown. An informational mixer with light refreshments and door prizes will begin at 5 p.m. followed by the speaker presentation from 6 to 7 p.m. Learn more about the resources available for providing the best quality care to your senior loved one from a panel of experts, including: Linda Detwiler, director of Chestnut Knoll At Home; Beth Hiriak, community liaison for Southeastern Home Health Services; Michael Melnick, PT, MS, regional director of FOX Rehabilitation; and Jordon Brello, general manager of Walnut Woods. CHESTER SPRINGS » The Philadelphia Unit of The Herb Society of America will hold its 79th Annual Herb Sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, rain or shine, in the meadow at Historic Yellow Springs, 1685 Art School Road. Numerous herbs, dozens of vegetable plants, many rare and unusual scented geraniums and salvias will be offered for sale. In addition, the Made By Members boutique tent will feature herbal specialties including chutneys, jams, mustards, notecards, essential oil solid perfumes, baked goods and a few surprises.
