Robert L. Peiffer of Parker Ford

Robert L. Peiffer, age 88, husband of Nancy M. (Francis) Peiffer, of Parker Ford, PA, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in the Phoenixville Hospital.

Born on June 2, 1929 in Upper Pottsgrove Township, PA, he was a son of the late George and Lillian (Haines) Peiffer.

He was a 1948 graduate of Spring City High School. Mr. Peiffer worked as a mechanic for Jones Motor Co. and in later years for the DeVault Construction Co. He retired in 1994. He was a member of Brownback’s United Church of Christ in Spring City.

In addition to his wife of 65 years, Mr. Peiffer is survived by three children, Patricia A. (Dennis E.) Guisewhite of Chaptico, MD, Robert E. (Linda L.) Peiffer of Pottstown, PA, David G. (Patricia W.) Peiffer of Trenton, NJ; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; stepbrother, William Peiffer of Sanatoga, PA; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Peiffer was pre-deceased by eight siblings and seven step-siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Brownback’s United Church of Christ, 640 Ridge Road, Spring City, PA on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be Rev. Mark L. Stryjak. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery. Friends will be received from 9:15 am - 10:15 am Monday at the church.
