Evans Elementary completes mural
Fourth-grade art students at Evans Elementary School in Limerick recently painted mural for their school.
Fourth-grade art students at Evans Elementary School, Limerick, recently completed a painted mural for their school. The students have been working with their art teacher, Christina Moyer, and professional Bucks County-based artist Denise Romano Bright. They used images of items and ideas that reminded them of their “Scholastic Journey.” Students designed the mural and continued to paint sections in small groups with the help and guidance of Bright. The project is a gift from the fourth grade students to the community.
The project was facilitated by art teacher, Christina Moyer, and Jacqueline Clarke Havrilla, principal. This project is sponsored by The Evans Elementary Home and School Association and is supported by the administration. Dedication will take place at 6 p.m. on May 8 at Evans Elementary School.
