John G. Stasik, Jr., 75, of Gilbertsville
John G. Stasik, Jr., 75, of Gilbertsville, husband of Dorothy A. (Brannan) Stasik, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Manatawny Manor.
Born in Danville, he was the son of the late Elizabeth M. (McCollum) and John G. Stasik Sr.
John was a 1961 graduate of Boyertown High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Ursinus College in 1991. He worked for various local businesses throughout his life and in the last 10 years he worked as a selfemployed business consultant. John was a former township supervisor for Douglass Montgomery Township. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Gilbertsville. He was a Past Patron for Faith Chapter #444 O.E.S. of Boyertown, a member of Boyertown Lodge #741 F.& A.M. of Boyertown and a member of the Scottish Rite. He was also very active in the Boy Scouts Troop 36 in Gilbertsville.
John was very active in the start-up and fundraising of St. Luke Knolls, he continued to serve as President of the Board for many years.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 58 years are one daughter, Renee Stasik of St. Luke Knolls; two granddaughters, Jennifer and Marissa and her husband Tom; one grandson George and two-great granddaughters.
He was predeceased by his son John Stasik, III.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11 p.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 35 Wilson Avenue, Gilbertsville, PA. Lodge services will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. A viewing will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 from 7-8:30 p.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Hill Church Cemetery.
