POTTSTOWN 3, OWEN J. ROBERTS 2 » Jeremy Adams knocked a twoout infield single in the bottom of the seventh to score Josiah Wiggins and give the Trojans a PAC crossover win against the Wildcats Monday afternoon.

Dalton Mullen finished 3-for-3 for Pottstown while Wiggins was 2-for-2 with two runs scored. Seth Yergey picked up the pitching win, scattering two runs on eight hits across seven innings of work. Dan Stofko took the loss for OJR, tagged with three runs on nine hits. Jack Rinehimer finished 3-for-4. METHACTON 2, UPPER MERION 1 » Zack Griffin held the Vikings to just four hits in leading the Warriors to a PAC divisional crossover win.

Griffin was tagged for just one run — a solo blast by Anthony Swenda in the top of the sixth — while mixing in just one walk and six strikeouts. Ben Christian, Conor Smith (RBI) and Eric Timko (run scored) all doubled off UM starter Zach Hooven, who was strong despite taking the loss. PERKIOMEN VALLEY 7, UPPER PERKIOMEN 0 » The top portion of the Vikings’ lineup proved the difference in this PAC crossover matchup.

Leadoff man AJ Hansen was 2-for-3 with an RBI-double and two runs scored while Joe Gorla, Brock Helverson (two hits) and Mikey Gama each had a run scored and an RBI. Tyler Strechay pitched 6-2/3 innings where he limited UP to four hits before turning it over to Zach Hollenbach for the final out. BOYERTOWN 11, POTTSGROVE 5 » Austyn Levengood was 2-for-2 with two walks and two RBI and Quinn Mason had three hits and an RBI as the Bears took down the Falcons in PAC play.

Pottsgrove, which got two of its four hits from Zane Alderfer, got within 6-5 after a four-run fourth inning but the Bears tacked on four in the top of the fifth. Evan Crowe and Gavin Richards combined for 3 2/3 innings no-hit relief in support of starter Drew Hartman for Boyertown.

Pope John Paul II 11, Norristown 4 >> AJ Stento swung the big bat with two doubles and two RBI in a 3-for-4 day to lead the Golden Panthers to a PAC victory.

Colt Narciso and Matt Pinone both had a double, two hits and two RBI for PJP. Dom Proietto had three hits for the Eagles. MUHLENBERG 12, DANIEL BOONE 7 » The Muhls crossed six runners in the top of the sixth inning on the way to handing the Blazers a Berks Conference I loss.

Carson Zuber finished 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBI while Brett Goodrich added a double with two runs scored in the loss. PERKIOMEN SCHOOL 31, PHELPS SCHOOL 0 » The Panthers put up double-digit runs in both their at-bats in a three-inning win. David Smith was 3-for-3 with five RBI, Zach Smith was 3-for-4 with three RBI and Sam Glavin had a home run and three RBI to lead Perk School. SALEM CHRISTIAN 6, WESTMONT CHRISTIAN 5 » The Wings took a narrow defeat to Salem in Atlantic Coast Christian Conference play.

Softball

UPPER PERKIOMEN 3, METHACTON 0 » Taylor Lindsay did a little bit of everything in the Tribe’s PAC crossover win against the Warriors.

Lindsay pitched all seven innings in the circle where she held Methacton to just four hits and struck out eight to pick up the win. She also helped herself with a two-run blast during the top of the third inning. Morgan Lindsay finished 3-for-3 with a run scored while Jenna Sullivan had a hit and a run scored. Aubrey Seal pitched all seven for Methacton, limiting UP to three runs on six hits. OWEN J. ROBERTS 14, POPE JOHN PAUL II 5 » The Wildcats benefited from a disastrous first inning with eight runs en route to a PAC win over the Golden Panthers.

OJR plated its eight runs, none of which were earned thanks to four errors, via a three-run triple from Allie Daubert (two hits, four RBI) and Rylie Hijosh’s two-run single. Maddie Daubert also had two hits and four RBI for OJR. Nikki Bowen was 2-for-3 with an RBI for PJP. BOYERTOWN 18, POTTSTOWN 1» MacKenzie Shaner was 4-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI as the Bears blasted the Trojans in five innings.

Logan Black was 3-for-3 with a triple and two RBI, winning pitcher Lauren Ferguson was 3-for-3 with two RBI and Naiya Murrey, April Hurlock and Rachel Hartman each had two-hit games for Boyertown. SPRING-FORD 9, UPPER MERION 4 » Noelle Reid had a two-run double and Maddy Little had two hits to lead the Rams to a PAC win. DANIEL BOONE 5, TWIN VALLEY4» The Blazers’ five-run third inning was enough to hold off the Raiders’ rally in Berks play. Twin Valley threatened in the seventh with two runs and had bases loaded but Sofia Palyan lined into a gameending double play to third baseman Elizabeth Nitka.

Heather Hall’s three-run home run was the big blow for Boone, who got two hits from Hannah Johns and RBIs from Nitka and Caitlin McCrone. WEST-MONT CHRISTIAN 23, MERCY VOCATIONAL 16 » Ariel Collins went 5-for-5 and Morgan Stimpson pitched 6 innings with 5 strikeouts in the Wings’ Tri-County League win.

Boys lacrosse

POPE JOHN PAUL II 16, POTTSGROVE 3 » Kyle Donovan scored five goals and two assists as the Golden Panthers rolled past the Falcons in PAC play. Other multipoint scorers for PJP were Matt Cressman (2G, 1A), Nick Russo (3G, 1A), Eric D’Agostino (2G) and Chris Morgado (2G, 2A). OWEN J. ROBERTS 15, METHACTON 8 » Logan Clefisch had four goals and two assists to lead the Wildcats to a PAC win. Joey Tordone and Ben Colt had two goals and three assists each for OJR. Cooper Chamberlai­n and Shane Beitel also scored two apiece.

Greg Cardaci and Stanley Kolimago each scored twice for Methacton. BOYERTOWN 12, UPPER MERION4» Brady McFalls’ four goals and an assist led the Bears to a PAC win on Senior Night.

Christian Hellreigel, Mason Turner, Skylar Wallace, Brewer Johnson and Carson Flint added two goals each for Boyertown.

Girls Lacrosse

BOYERTOWN 17, POTTSTOWN 5» Ashley Dierolf scored four goals and the Bears put up 13 first-half goals in a PAC crossover win. Other multi-point scorers for Boyertown were Sydney Fox (1G, 1A), Erin Gilbert (1G, 2A), Kaleigh Gallagher (1G, 1A), Hannah Mitchell (2G, 2A), Amanda Diachynsky (2G, 1A), Liz Tamasitis (1G, 1A) and Jen O’Connor (2G).

Ebony Reddick scored four goals for Pottstown while goalie Reilly Owens made 12 saves. METHACTON 13, UPPER MERION 1 » Sydney Tornetta (three assists) and Mia Sheldon each had hat tricks in the Warriors’ one-sided PAC crossover win.

Skylar Kay and Erin Hardenberg scored two for Methacton. PERKIOMEN VALLEY 10, UPPER PERKIOMEN 8 » Paige Tyson and Riley McGettigan combined for seven goals in the Vikings’ PAC divisional crossover win against the Tribe.

Tyson scored four times and McGettigan netted a hat trick as PV jumped out to a 6-2 lead by the half. Kat Kelley added a pair of goals with an assist while Anna Dawson rounded out the scoring. AiYi Young and Hope Flack scored three goals apiece for Upper Perk. SPRING-FORD 13, PHOENIXVIL­LE 10 » The Rams downed the Phantoms in a PAC crossover game.

Boys Golf

HILL SCHOOL 225, FRIENDS CENTRAL 247 » At Brookside, Hill got a match-low 4-over 40 from Billy Gussler while Jack Murray (43) and Cam Miller (46) were solid scorers in a non-league win. COLLEGIUM CHARTER 136, PERKIOMEN SCHOOL 138 » The match was played at Ingelside golf club. Scoring for Perkiomen were Ben Griffaton 39, Jerry Chan 49 and Thomas Dormer 50. The Panthers are now 1-4 on the season.
