Arvin A. Haldren, 70, husband of Marlene Haldren died Monday, April 30, 2018 at home.

He was born in Rich Creek, VA, to the late Arvin A. and the late Vada (Meadows) Haldren. Bill attended Oakvale High School in West Virginia. He went into the Army and served our country in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed working with his hands. Bill worked as the Property Director at the Daniel J. Detweiler Phoenixvil­le YMCA until retirement and had a small side business as a builder.

Bill was a member of the Spring City American Legion Post 602, a life member of the Phoenixvil­le VFW Post 1562, Friendship Fire Company, Royersford and Liberty Fire Company, Spring City.

In addition to his wife of 21 years, He is survived by two step sons: Walter Russell Gauger (husband to Adrienne) and Keith Alan Gauger (husband to Jayne), two brothers: Lewis Harrison Haldren and Eddie E. Haldren, four grandchild­ren: Anthony Fultz, Elek Gauger, Zane Gauger, and Toni Gumpert

Predeased are siblings: Larry L. Haldren, Brenda and Joyce Blankenshi­p.

A funeral service will be held at the Good Shepherd Chapel & Mausoleum at Limerick Garden of Memories on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Noon with the Rev. Jack A. Mason officiatin­g. Friends are welcome to visit with the family prior to service from 10 AM – 12:00PM in the chapel. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories in Limerick with full Military honors.
