Well here we go again with the mainstream media. Time Magazine putting Maxine Waters on the cover as one of the most influential people in the country. Are these people real? Do they understand how out of touch they are with reality? If Maxine Waters is an influential person, man that speaks volumes to why the Democrats are in the mess they are.

Congratulations to Pennsburg Borough, Upper Hanover Township and the Upper Perkiomen School District for working together to obtain a Montgomery County Grant award for a bike path and sidewalk installation grant from Montgomery County.

I just wanted to give a big thank you to the ladies who made the flowers for my mother on Mother’s Day. They were selling them by their church in Phoenixville, I believe it was Hall Street. They did a wonderful job, beautiful. I just can’t get over how nice of a job that was done and they’re still looking strong. I’ve ordered them in the past out of a florist and they’re not as beautiful as these have been. Thank you ladies, you did a tremendous job.

Recently I used the restroom at a local restaurant where a posted sign said “Employees must wash hands.” I waited 15 minutes and no one came so I washed them myself.

I want to congratulate Mr. Simpson on his players’ championship win last weekend. That was an impressive four rounds and to finish 19 under. No one remembers who was 11 under, only the winner.

No Lady Di not all politicians are known for their dishonesty and Trump did not start it. However if you know anything about Trump’s past he is a known habitual liar, embellisher and cheater. As far as starting his investigation on false information how many investigations of the Clintons have been done since they were in office? How many years and tax dollars spent to find nothing criminal other than lying about having sex with that woman? The same lies Trump sells all the time.

This is to the person who wants an apology for Ivanka Trump. Well I’ll give you an apology if she doesn’t go to jail. Stand by.

For those that think Robert Mueller’s investigation is a witch hunt, think about this. Four exTrump advisers, one lawyer, one digital marketing strategist, 13 Russian Nationals and three Russian companies have been indicted so far. Also five guilty pleas. When Robert Mueller started this investigation he was praised by every Republican as the man for the job. Remember Mueller is a lifelong Republican.

Under Obama there were 11 prisoners released from North Korea and three from Iran. There was not a single photo op. That’s just another difference between Obama and Trump.

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, other top Pentagon leaders, Warren Buffet, Paul Ryan and the leaders of England, Germany, France, Russia and China favored staying in the Iran deal. Donald Trump and the screamers who stand behind him at rallies favored leaving the deal. I trust the former rather than the latter.

Thank you Donald Trump. You promised so much after the last school shooting when you met with the Florida students and you did not follow through with one promise. You did promise at the NRA meeting that you had their backs and you followed through for the gun crazies. What lies will you tell us now?

It’s time for all of us residents to call our borough and commissioners in our surrounding Pottsgroves and tell our elected officers it’s time to enact new ordinances to stop the collection of junk vehicles. These vehicles are detrimental to our beautiful communities and property values. Enough.

So the Boyertown School Board thinks that it’s fair and that the 5.4 tax hike is no big deal because it will come out to about $136 per house assessed at $100,000 with a family of three children on which the school district will spend thousands of dollars each year. Well what about all the senior citizens and everyone else who don’t have any children in school who are paying the high taxes? Where does that leave us?

Jill Dennin, who is a member of the Boyertown School Board, says that you can’t have it all without tax hikes. Well maybe they could adjust the outrageous expense that is paid to the interim superintendent on a daily basis.

So we finally get an inside look at the OJR School Board and what do we see? An individual making a threat to sue the school district. This is clearly wrong. Clearly the right decision was made.
