A reminder to this generation of teens who want changes to gun laws. It’s your own classmates shooting up the schools, not random people off the street, and they are taking the legally-owned guns of their parents. How often did the parents of the shooters check their kid’s social media posts? Obviously none. Also I’ll bet the students listen to hip hop music where most glorify guns in their lyrics. Are these teens protesting these artists? No they support them by buying their music. How Hypocritical

Just a pet peeve here in Pottstown. I live in the East End. I go for morning walks and it amazes me how lazy some of these residents are that they cut the grass and fail to sweep it up. There are so many sidewalks where people cut the grass and just leave the grass clippings laying there. Pretty disgusting when you’re going for a walk. Again, pet peeve.

I said it before and I’ll say it again, no elected official should receive a pension. Being elected is like jury duty. It’s an honor to serve one’s country. Politicians have made it a business and they’ve voted themselves a retirement. It should be repealed and those who voted for it should be impeached. Night Light

Thank you to Brookside Country Club and North End Pool, two beautiful properties that are well taken care of. Now if property owners could just do the same. A little work can make a big difference. A Happy Neighbor

I’m calling to tell the military people, active and inactive, and the volunteers, thank you. I only wish that none of them would have to go through what they have to go through to help keep us safe. Thanks a lot and I respect them all and my heart goes out to them.

This is to the person that said about Gov. Corbett raising the gas tax 50 cents a gallon. Maybe if the former Gov. Rendell had used the stimulus money on roads and bridges instead of throwing it away on schools and other stuff that Rendell always liked to spend money on maybe the taxes wouldn’t have had to be raised 50 cents a gallon.

Donald Trump’s talking about putting the tariff on cars now. What does he care if the cars go up in price, he’s going to be in jail.

This is to the Gulati family. I noticed that your family has rescued more than one building that was a favorite of many people. I would just like to say that when you get to the Pearly Gates someday I know you all will hear the words “Well done my good and faithful servants.”

Lady Di, do you understand you are attacking the FBI agency and there has been no proof of any wrongdoing? It’s obvious Trump fired James Comey because he was leading the investigation into whether Trump campaign members colluded with the Russians and Comey would not pledge loyalty which he could not. If you don’t believe that, OK, but don’t blame the entire FBI agency as they protect you and me every day of our lives.

Used to be when an ambulance emergency vehicle went zooming by everybody would get over to allow that vehicle ample passage. Now an emergency vehicle goes by and people use it as an opportunity to jump up in line. What has life become? Good job people, good job.

It didn’t surprise me that Trump used Memorial Day not to honor veterans killed in action but to talk about himself. He told us how great he is and what he has accomplished. His supposed bone spur kept him out of Vietnam with five deferments. Now he walks around golf courses with no problems. The war heroes that died in Vietnam would be proud of him.

The reason the CIA no longer is doing water boarding tests have proven that info can be obtained quicker by forcing prisoners to listen to Trump tapes ranting on Fox 24/7 followed by 24/7 tapes of Pence kissing up to Trump. The only drawback, some subjects lost their minds. Bob of Phoenixville

I noticed our state Reps Hennessey and Quigley and state Sen. Mensch marching in the Memorial Day parade. I couldn’t let it pass without chasing them down and questioning them about House Bill 76 and what they proposed to do about it. Quigley and

Hennessey acknowledged that something needs to be done. Mensch acted like he didn’t even hear me. I made it clear to them that their re-election will depend on whether or not something gets done. Hope they heard me.

We should not compare people to animals. Wild animals usually will not attack you but people will. Logical Bob

In politics it’s not whether you win or lose, it’s where you place the blame. Jim Fitch
