Steven P. Long of Pottstown

Steven P. Long, 59, of Pottstown, Lower Pottsgrove Twp., husband of Jayne (Bookheimer) Long, passed away on Monday May 28, 2018 at Paoli Hospital.

Born in Lansdale, he was the son of the late Daniel and Mary (Woods) Long.

Steven was an avid hot rod fan who loved mustangs and classic cars. He had an extensive die-cast car collection and HO train layout. Steven also enjoyed fishing and going camping in the Poconos.

Surviving with his wife of 30 years are children Heather Long, partner of Tirzah, Scott Long, husband of Heather, and Danielle Lafferty, wife of Scott; sister Karen Arnold, wife of David; brother David Long; 1 niece, 4 nephews and beloved dog Shelby.

A memorial service will be Friday, June 8, 3:00 p.m. at St. Johns UCC Church, 11 S. Price St., Pottstown with visitation from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the church.
