Police seek driver in road rage incident

North Coventry Police are asking the public’s help to locate a motorcycli­st who damaged another vehicle.

NORTHCOVEN­TRY» Police are asking for the public’s help in identifyin­g a driver in a traffic incident they say was fueled by road rage.

A female motorist reported to North Coventry Police that she was traveling on eastbound on Route 422 near South Hanover Street on Monday at 4:12 p.m. when a motorcycli­st passed her on the right side and punched her passenger side mirror breaking the housing and shattering the glass on the mirror. The motorcycli­st then exited at either South Keim Street or Route 724.

The motorcycle was described as an older motorcycle possibly black and tan color. No descriptio­n of the motorcycle driver was provided by police.

North Coventry Police are asking that anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may know the identity of the motorcycle driver contact them at 610-323-8360. North Coventry Police can also be contacted through their website or Facebook page.
