Does anyone agree with me that television puts you to bed? You start watching a program and after five minutes on comes 17 ads. Then you tune back in again and after five minutes on come the ads again. It gets worse as the night goes on so you have to go to bed hoping your Comcast bill will be there in the morning or in the afternoon in your mailbox to make you feel better and make you know it’s not all in your mind.

I see where the Supreme Court has really hit the Democratic Party hard with their ruling that the state of Ohio can take about 100,000 people off the voting rolls. This is because a lot of those people are dead or they don’t even live in Ohio anymore. Big blow Democrats since most of the people involved were registered Democrat and you say that there’s no such thing as voter fraud. Way to go Democratic Party. JT

I’m in Pottstown Hospital for a total knee replacement. Dr. Pavlides did a wonderful job. I’ve always heard negative things about the hospital but I have nothing but great, great reviews about Pottstown Hospital. Everybody was nice, nurses, everybody. It was truly a pleasure to be here with everybody around taking care of you. So I just think the Pottstown Hospital needs a shout-out. Thank you once again. David H.

I just thought of one positive aspect concerning all the bike lanes in town. If Limerick nuke plant blows, our families will have an alternative if not the only way of escaping the mayhem. LR

Pottstown are you kidding me about bike lanes? There’s people in Pottstown that are homeless. They can’t eat, have no place to sleep, they can’t clothe their children, they don’t have shoes and you’re worrying about bike lanes in Pottstown. The parking in Pottstown is backwards on High Street and you’re putting bike lanes in. Who in the world thought of this?

I see Boyertown’s school taxes are going up 5.4 percent. I wish people like Ruth Dierolf could clone herself so we could vote against some of these high taxes.
